Austin, TX

I am back from Austin. Many, many things happened. I took pictures of an amateur boxing match in an abandoned warehouse, Duncan's bloody face and house, a crate full of hundreds of live/cooked crawdads, a 12+ft. tall cardboard robot confronting a spaceship, a real Italian dinner, a raft Will and I made out of bamboo, a cross-armed lady standing in front of the capital building with a package that said "Watergate evidences for International U.N. Case", a 6-person human pyramid, a tiny dog kissing a giant dog, two girls dancing with a barking dog...

I left my camera on the seat next to me in the Delta terminal in Austin, TX. I am very unhappy with myself on this count.

The girl from Delta Baggage Services in the Boise airport was of no help. Her name is N*****e. She must have seen my driver's license though, because she looked me up on MySpace the next day. Unsettling. Unhelpful. Friendship denied.

This is what I found in an old AIM conversation when I asked you, "Why a bumble bee?"

"I want a bumble bee because I really like bugs, especially bumble bees. I like that they have a really meaty mammalian type look to them, despite their insect categorization. Also they bumble around.

"They go not where they intend but where they end up. But they take advantage of the pollen when they get there."

I don't think bumble bees are shitty robots. I think they are kind hearted flying meatballs.
